Assignment 9

A loving mother

In this picture, you can see what appears to be a woman hugging his son after huge destruction made by a tornado. This tornado destroyed many houses in 2011 in Concord, Alabama. I can imagine how it feels to lose your own home. There are little pieces of houses everywhere. Everything is torn apart. There are Dishwashers in the middle of the street and cars upside down. All the trees and street lamps have fallen. This picture has great empathy. The camera is focused on the mother and the son. When you see the trash on the back of the mother and son you could imagine that behind them is just miles of destroyed houses. The picture isn't that great of a quality it could be taken with a phone or an old camera. I think its quite funny when there is a dishwasher or a washing machine in the middle of the street but a part of me feels so sad about how this man lost his own home. I can really feel how the mother's hug helps the son to feel better and that there is always a positive side in everything. It's hard to find a positive side in stuff like this but i promise there is always a positive side
