Assignment 2

The day of bad luck

It was a day I will never forget. I was with my little brother and sister and my parents going to an amusement park. On our way to the amusement park, we saw many beautiful landscapes such as waterfalls, beautiful lakes, and super big mountains. When we got to the amusement park me and my brother directly went looking for a cool rollercoaster. I and my brother went to an amusement park ride that goes slowly up and then falls down super fast but when we got to the top my little brother fell from his seat. He was hanging from five hundred meters and when I realized he was hanging and almost falling down I quickly pulled him back to his seat. Happily, nothing happened. We didn't tell anyone about it.

After we got out of the ride our dad had joined a digging competition. In the competition, you had to dig a large box that was two meters underground. My dad was in the military so I was pretty sure he was going to win it but unfortunately my dad lost and he was super devastated and angry. My father was super angry and he wanted to go to eat. I and my family kindly agreed to my dad's request.

 When we were outside of the restaurant and went in it my dad slammed the door on my fingers but mostly on my thumb. I was pretty sure my thumb was broken so we needed to go to the hospital my mom was screaming to my dads face the whole trip to the hospital. My little brother was trying to sleep in the car but my mom was screaming super loudly.

When we got to the hospital it was super dark and there were these huge stairs u needed to go up to if u wanted to get in the hospital. My mom tripped on the stairs and hit her super hard on the concrete. My mom was unconscious and she wasn't breathing well. We quickly grabbed my mom with my dad and carried her to the hospital. The nurses quickly reacted to the serious injury and took her to the ER. Then my the nurses and doctors saw my thumb and I was quickly given treatment for it but it was too late. My thumb had to be amputated. Then I was taken to the surgery room and doctors gave me anesthetic. 

The next day my family entered my hospital room and they saw my amputated finger and they felt extremely sorry for me. My little brother was crying because now I couldn't play videogames with him because I didn't have a thumb. I had to spend one more night in the hospital because of my surgery. I had a button under my desk to ask the nurses for everything that I wanted. I ordered a lot of coke and icecream. I was happy with what I got. I ate ice cream all day long and I didn't even notice that I didn't have a thumb.

The next day my parents came to get me from the hospital and us
went back home. My brother was super happy to see me again. We played some videogames with my brother and I still beat him on every single game that we played. I was super hungry and wanted to grab a bowl of noodles but when I tried to grab the noodle cup from the top shelf I totally forgot that I didn't have a thumb and dropped the cup to the floor and it broke. Gladly it wasn't an expensive bowl. I wasn't that sad about my losing thumb because all that mattered to me was soccer and in soccer, u don't need a thumb.
